VEENENDAAL - The DJ Mag Top 100, the list of the most popular DJs in the dance world, was recently released and there are no fewer than three Veense all the DJs who spin hardstyle music. ,, Veenendaal is the epicenter of the hardstyle scene. "
Harmke by Schippers
After the special publication VeenendaalseKrant spoke for the first Headhunterz (Willem Rebergen), Wildstylez (Joram Metekohy) and the duo of Noisecontrollers (Bas Oskam).
At the time of the interview, they all just Thrillogy behind the festival, which Headhunterz was one of the main acts. He might host a room all night and invite friends and colleagues that he wanted to run.
How was Thrillogy? Headhunterz:,, it's crazy. It was a special night. You get as much recognition as it all revolves around you. It was the second time I have an all night party was a great run. I get so much energy from the visitors.'' Noisecontrollers: 'Last year we were host to a room Thrillogy. You really turn all night and it's super long, but so fat. There is also a very good atmosphere.'' Headhunterz: 'The whole evening will be adjusted to the artist. On what I want and what I stand for.'' Wildstylez: 'Maybe next year I turn, but I'm not doing.''
The DJ Mag Top 100 is known and there are three Veense hardstyle DJs. Headhunterz:,, I find it fantastic.'' Noisecontrollers: 'I never expected that we would end up so high. But I do not need such a listing. You have to work you do not like this would confirm.'' Headhunterz:,, yet it opens new doors. The hardstyle scene is only a certain size. I've already done everything. Where you can get a hardstyle dj, I have been. I hope that by listing on a larger area because I want to continue to grow. Have preconceptions about hardstyle out of the way. 'Hard', does not "HARD" to be. When people hear what music we make, they will see that it is bad.''
So called 'hardstyle' is not good? Headhunterz:,, No, not really.''
Suggestions? Headhunterz:,, Wild Style.'' Wildstylez: 'I think it's good.'' Headhunterz: 'In the Netherlands we want to stop everything in boxes.'' Noisecontrollers: 'It is typical to a Dutch hardstyle party just to run.'' Headhunterz:,, I just came back from America and as I turned on an internship with Avicii and Dash Berlin. And like the Americans, who want to hear anything.'' Noisecontrollers: 'The scene is ready. Ten percent of the DJ Mag Top 100's hard dance.'' Wildstylez: 'We need to attract a broader and more accessible hardstyle. I want tracks that my parents like it.''
Why do you think you're in the DJ Mag Top 100? Wildstylez jokingly: 'There will be something in the water of Veenendaal down.'' Noisecontrollers: 'It remains a popular pole.'' Headhunterz: 'That's right, there are so many different dance styles. You can not compare apples and oranges. But we are bound to be something good. It is mainly due to the fans, they have voted.'' Wildstylez: 'We have loyal followers on Facebook and Twitter to vote for us.''
Social media is a major factor in voting? Wildstylez: 'Through social media we have become more accessible and you almost have a contact with fans.'' Noisecontrollers: 'Fans to reach you and you can reach them.'' Headhunterz: 'I've called social media to vote for the DJ Mag Top 100.'' Noisecontrollers: 'The contrast on Facebook and Twitter is great. It is of extreme adulation to deep hatred.'' Wildstylez: 'Fans give candid feedback. If I am on my facebook page ten responses that get my set yesterday jerk I was still there once about it.'' All three: 'But we make music for ourselves.'' Wildstylez: 'I think not when creating a track: "My fans are like this?" . Then the spontaneity off.'' Noisecontrollers: 'Well balanced feedback, I look at it seriously.'' Headhunterz: 'Negative comments often arise from envy. So I look closely at the nature of the message and try everything from an art perspective approach.''
How do you deal with negativity? Wildstylez: 'leave me cold. Of course I want to hear nice things, but sometimes criticism.'' Headhunterz: 'I sometimes find it difficult. I would like to protect, but you can definitely achieve critical. I am through learning perspective and not keep it to myself. Then I feel rotten.'' Noisecontrollers: 'I'm going to see it as something positive. When I got negative responses, I get feedback from other DJ's take a look and saw that they have the same experience.''
How is your relationship with your fans? Headhunterz:,, We are an example for people and they send us many messages.'' Noisecontrollers: 'I'm so begun.'' Headhunterz: 'On You Tube posting those tutorials and show them how a song (after) or a particular tune found (think we) have.'' Wildstylez: 'It's also funny to your song be heard in the piano or saxophone version.'' Headhunterz: 'Many of hardstyle tracks are found on You Tube as "ballad", I find that crazy.'' Noisecontrollers:,, Hardstyle songs have depth musically and technically is one of the hardest hardstyle music. But it is not impossible to make.'' Headhunterz: 'Persistence pays off.''
Which achievement are you proud? Noisecontrollers: 'Earlier this year we' Gimme Love 'made. This song has a different sound and doing well abroad.'' Wildstylez: 'I am proud of the song "Lose My Mind", a pop song into a hardstyle jacket. The track is only two months old but was already Thrillogy five thousand men sing along.'' Headhunterz: 'I am proud of my podcast "Hard With Style". This is a modern radio for an hour in which I mix to sound while talking. I tell the tracks what I do, what I read and what my thoughts are. This year I started and it is very well received. The new show every month to download all within one hour and was last at number one in iTunes.''
Who would you like to work together? Headhunterz: 'I would now time not to cooperate with producers, but with musicians. I get goose bumps from Rihanna.'' Wildstylez: 'I'd like to make a hardstyle track with Adele or Sia.'' Noisecontrollers: 'I would like the producers want to work behind a pop artist. I look very much to the makers of popular music. It should be obvious, but it's stoneware together.''
What role does the Dutch hardstyle scene in the global dance scene? Wildstylez:,, We are leading. Hardstyle is created in the Netherlands and that's where the top came from.'' Headhunterz:,, The Netherlands anyway with leading dance music. This view is also reflected in the DJ Mag Top 100.'' All three laugh: 'But surely Veenendaal is the epicenter.''

| _________________
