How have you found Hardstyle music?
My cousin showed me some years ago on christmas eve a „Sensation Black“ aftermovie or something like that. And „Deepack – The Prophecy“ and right after that, I got really interested in the genre.

What music do you like out of Hardstyle?
Trance. I love Trance, and I listen to it almost everyday. I also like House and Electro sometimes. Depends on how my mood is.

Which Hardstyle producers do you like most and why?
That must be either Noisecontrollers or The Anarchist. They deliver quality all the time. And I love their style and sound desiging.

Which Hardstyle track is your favourite?

:: Well to me personally there is only 1 thing, HARDSTYLE. I only use sometimes the word rawstyle because other people than understand better what you mean. But that you like the rawer side of hardstyle, doesn‘t have to mean that you don’t like, or hate, the other types of hardstyle? Why does it have to be a battle within 1 music type? F*ck that, be a bit more openminded please. Let’s all go for one common thing and that is Hardstyle!!

I’m a pretty happy person The festival season has just started, and it’s packed with a lot of massive gigs. This means I’m really busy in the studio, working long days creating new music for fresh new sets this summer. Besides my solo career there’s also my collaboration project Gunz For Hire with my good friend ThijsPloegmakers (DJ Adaro). It’s a real challenge to keep both my acts fresh. It takes a lot of time and dedication, but it’s so much fun to do!Who can say they actually turned their hobby into a job? I’m a lucky guy.

With barely a week remaining, the annual music festival Q-BASE is coming closer. Q-dance recently announced several additional areas in a special briefing. A2: Tak. Dokładnie 16 sierpnia na Electrocity. Co to w ogĂłle za impreza i dlaczego ma ”electro” w nazwie?

H: To polski festiwal odbywający się w klasztorze cystersĂłw. Jest na nim kilka scen, ale tylko jedna z hardstyle’em. Występują nie niej dwie większe gwiazdy - wy i Toneshifterz. Reszta to polscy producenci. Znacie jakichś?

A2: OprĂłcz Crypsisa, ktĂłry ma polskie korzenie to nie bardzo.

H: A alias Regain wam coś mówi? Powinniście go znać.

A2: To on jest z Polski? Znamy go, ale nie wiedzieliśmy, że jest Polakiem. Kiedyś nawet graliśmy jego utwór zrobiony z Koną Blackiem.

H: Za pół godziny występujesz jako B-Freqz. Czy oprócz występów zdarza Ci się chodzić na imprezy jako zwykły uczestnik? Pytam, bo widziałem Cię przez chwilę na scenie Black na Defqonie.1. Bawiłeś się na niej czy tylko przechodziłeś?

N:Byłem nie tylko na scenie Black. Od 2003 roku chodziłem na róşne festiwale, poniewaĹź jestem fanem hardstyle’u, tak samo jak ty. Nawet po tym jak od 2006/2007 roku zacząłem występować jako Freqencerz i robiliśmy się coraz popularniejsi, nigdy nie zapomniałem jak to się zaczęło. Nadal lubię bawić się w tłumie, na przykład na występach Wasted Mind albo innych artystĂłw. Poza tym, moja dziewczyna bardzo lubi chodzić na festiwale i gdy w niedzielę na Defqonie miałem wolne, razem bawiliśmy się w tłumie.
